Looking back, I remember how I treated my body. I saw it as a machine; I believed that the harder I worked it, the more efficient it would become. CrossFit, heavy cardio, limit-pushing fitness sessions... The result was an endless cycle of injuries. I thought I could trick my body by starting even harder from the very spot I had covered with a bandage.

I thought I was getting stronger, yet that strength had no intention of staying with me. The moment I paused, I would instantly surrender to exhaustion. Even during my second pregnancy, that voice of control within me refused to let me stop. Despite my doctor’s advice to limit my movement, I continued in secret. My mind whispered, "If you stop, you’ll fall; you’ll lose control." In reality, what was being shaken was not control, but the unique bond of trust between me and my body.

Fascia: A Touch to the Body’s Holistic Memory

 

The great door swung open through fascia and somatic-focused work. Suddenly, I understood: our bodies are far beyond a scaffolding of bones and muscles. It is an intelligent, holistic system carrying emotional loads, traces of the past, and a lifetime of experiences.

Fascia showed me that strength is not something to be imposed from the outside; it is already present within. All we need to do is allow that power to flow freely. To honor our bodies with compassion and variety... For me, this moved beyond being a movement philosophy and transformed into life itself.
